Thomas Cook Introduce New Summer 2010 Routes from Leeds Bradford International Airport

Thomas Cook UK & Ireland has announced two new flight routes to be operated this summer direct from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA), to Antalya in Turkey and Sharm el Sheikh in Egypt. The introduction of these popular holiday destinations will mean that holidaymakers can now fly from the airport to 19 hotspots to enjoy a summer retreat.
Ian Derbyshire, CEO of Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, said: We want to make it as convenient as possible for our customers to go on holiday. By adding these extra summer flight routes from LBIA, holidaymakers now have even more destinations to choose from, which are easily accessible from their local airport.

Antalya - Turkey
Flights to the Antalya will run twice a week from May to September and then once a week in October. It is one of the largest resorts on the Mediterranean Coast and offers modern shops, restaurants and nightlife. For those who want to explore, the Turkish countryside it offers stunning waterfalls and dramatic scenery.
Sunset - Antalya
7 nights at the 3 star Eftalia Resort Hotel in Konakli, on all inclusive, based on 2 sharing, costs from £329 per person. Travelling on 4th May 2010.
Sharm el Sheikh - Egypt
Flights to Sharm el Sheikh will run from May to October. It is a purpose built resort with many breathtaking sights like the 4th century St Catherine's Monastery. For diving and snorkelling, the Ras Mohammed Marine Park is renowned as one of the world's most fascinating diving destinations. On land, the Red Sea Riviera offers bars, restaurants, discos, clubs, golf courses and casinos to enjoy.
Sunset - Sharm el Sheikh
7 nights at the 3 star Tropicana Rosetta in Naama Bay , on bed and breakfast, based on 2 sharing, costs from £325 per person. Travelling on 29th June 2010.
